ST Foundation supports the use of ICT for Development and is committed to contributing a part of its budget to deserving NGOs active in this field as well as to experienced NGOs that have a significant impact for human development and progress in countries with precarious political and socio-economic conditions.
2005
ST Foundation donated 100,000 USD to the International Red Cross for the victims of the earthquake that struck Pakistan and the Kashmir region in October 2005.
ST Foundation had made a donation of the same amount, 100,000 USD, to the International Red Cross for the Tsunami relief effort following the devastating tsunami that shook South East Asia in December 2004.
