July 15, 2015 - United Nations initiates a new chapter in sustainable development

As the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) end, 15 years of success have been achieved in education worldwide. In developing regions, the number of children in elementary school rose from 83% in 2000 to 91% in 2015. Additionally, the literacy rate among young people aged 15 to 24 increased from 83% to 91% during the same period. As the MDG era concludes, the UN launches the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, outlining 17 goals to tackle global challenges. The ST Foundation, along with its partners, is committed to contributing to the achievement of these goals.
