ST Foundation Appointed ITU’s Official Partner
The ST Foundation was formally recognized as an international partner by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the Global Digital Transformation Centers (DTC) Workshop, held in Cebu City, Philippines, between May 9 and 11, 2023.
The event, which ITU and Cisco organized, in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) of the Philippines, created a forum for discussing the implementation of new initiatives and generating ideas to improve the efforts of all parties. It allowed participants to share their experiences, insights, and best practices.
Giovanna Bottani, Director of Operations for the ST Foundation, was a notable speaker at the event. She communicated the mission and vision of the organization, paving the way for future collaborations. This significant development represents an important step toward fostering a more inclusive digital environment and utilizing technology to empower individuals in disadvantaged situations worldwide.
The partnership will investigate and promote innovative digital inclusion solutions worldwide to support the activities of the Digital Transformation Centers initiative.
