STMicroelectronics Foundation
Born in Italy, Giovanna Bottani has lived on three continents and has traveled extensively throughout the world. Giovanna has over 19 years of experience in the philanthropy and CSR fields, working for the following organizations and institutions: STMicroelectronics as the CSR specialist (2003); ST Foundation as the Deputy Director of Operations (2006); the Italian Center for Social Responsibility (I-CSR) of the Ministry of Labor as the External Communication Manager (2007); and various consulting agencies specialized in the field of sustainability.
She holds a degree in political sciences and international politics from the University of Milan and three master’s degrees in corporate social responsibility, corporate communication, and business innovation processes. In 2016, she completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management of Non-Profit Organizations at the University of Geneva.
She was formally appointed as the Operations Senior Consultant in 2012 reporting to the President of the Foundation with the role of managing the projects in all intervention’s areas.
