Our volunteers
At the core of our Foundation are our volunteers — current and retired STMicroelectronics employees — who dedicate their time to help others. Their commitment drives our projects and fortifies our culture of community involvement and volunteering.
They are organized into Local Communities — groups of volunteers at each ST site. The role of a Local Community is to help the organization reach the surrounding communities around the ST sites through our Digital Unify Program (DU).
We provide the hardware to set up local DU labs (typically, ST reconditioned PCs) and organize the onboarding for new ST volunteers to become DU trainers.
What is the volunteer’s job?
ST volunteers are essential to the DU Program. They are involved in teaching and training new potential DU trainers, updating the training material, and assisting us in expanding the program’s reach.
Together, we are more than a foundation; we are a community committed to making a significant, lasting impact.
