In May, in collaboration with our two Isère sites in Crolles and Grenoble, we donated 70 laptops to the Grenoble INP Foundation to promote access to education and fight digital exclusion among students. The handover of the computers took place at an event at Grenoble INP.
These laptops, intended to be loaned on social and merit bases, will assist Grenoble INP – UGA students who face digital challenges, providing a crucial tool for their studies. With 5 to 10% of students in these schools lacking adequate computer equipment, our contribution is particularly meaningful.
This donation is part of the Grenoble INP Foundation’s initiative to reduce digital poverty and ensure all students have access to digital resources. The collaboration reinforces our support for students in need and embodies the agreement between us and the Grenoble INP Foundation, sharing a vision of equal opportunities in higher education.
The ceremony, attended by Patrick Dureault (representative of the ST Foundation) and Jean-Philippe Landais (representative of ST), marked the occasion to offer the first PCs to students.
