This summer, we offered the “Introduction to Computer Basics” (ICB) courses at summer camps across Morocco. In collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we implemented free educational programs aimed at young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, as part of our Digital Unify initiative.
The Digital Unify Program is an innovative initiative designed to empower individuals with limited computer experience. Its goal is to develop their IT skills through a standardized and accessible approach.
ICB is one of our core learning paths within the Digital Unify offering, aimed at helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds become acquainted with computers through a one-week.
This year, the impact of the summer camps has been remarkable. More than 12,754 young people participated in the ICB training sessions during the months of July and August, spread across 17 cities, including Immouzzar, Taounate, Kenitra, and Casablanca.
This initiative has enabled thousands of young students to acquire essential digital skills, thus promoting their inclusion in the digital society. In the ICB course, students were provided with PCs, course content, and a trainer. The students discovered the function of a computer and how local and global networks work. They learned Microsoft Office, using tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel,

Thanks to the dedication of 45 trainers and the contribution of local associations, the 2024 edition not only met expectations but exceeded them. Participants benefited from 31 temporary digital labs specially set up for the occasion.
The success of this year’s summer camps once again highlights the importance of offering digital educational opportunities to young people. Through these initiatives, we continue to strengthen our role in promoting digital inclusion and reducing the digital divide in Morocco.
