Malaysia: celebrating the Parit Setongkat primary school’s 100th anniversary together

The Parit Setongkat primary school in Muar recently marked a significant milestone by celebrating its 100th anniversary. The centennial event was a grand affair, bringing together past and present students, teachers, and the community to honor the school’s rich history and achievements.

We had the honor of being part of the event lineup. As a key participant, we took the opportunity to promote and display the STM32 portfolio to primary school students and teachers from the Muar vicinity. This initiative aimed to spark interest in technology and innovation among young minds.

The Parit Setongkat primary school is one of our many active beneficiaries. This year, we have made significant contributions to the school by providing training to a total of 59 students. Two sessions of the Introduction to Computer Basics (ICB) program were conducted; additionally, one session of the Tablets for Kids (T4K) program was held, designed to introduce students to tablets. These programs have had a profound impact on the students, enhancing their understanding of technology and fostering a culture of innovation.

During the anniversary celebration, our booth attracted a large number of attendees. The event provided a platform for us to engage with the community and showcase our initiatives. The booth saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents, all eager to learn about our work and the STM32 product. Attendees asked numerous questions, reflecting their keen interest in our programs and the technology on display. Our team of volunteers thoroughly enjoyed the event, appreciating the opportunity to connect with the community and inspire the next generation of innovators.

Our involvement in the 100th anniversary celebration of the Parit Setongkat primary school underscores our commitment to education and community development. By providing training and resources, we are helping to shape the future of young students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a technology-driven world. As we continue to support schools like Parit Setongkat, we look forward to expanding our reach and impact, fostering a love for technology and innovation among more students in the region.
