Ajmeri: a new language of possibility
In the heart of Bawana JJ Colony in Delhi, 20-year-old Ajmeri has discovered a new confidence through digital learning.
After finishing high school, she dreamed of finding a good job but felt limited by her lack of computer skills. “Before joining the course, I barely knew anything about computers,” she recalls. Everything changed when she enrolled in our computer training program, implemented by the Navjyoti India Foundation.
Step by step, she learned to print documents, work in Excel, create presentations, browse the internet safely, and set strong passwords. Each new skill gave her a greater sense of independence and pride.
“Now I even help my classmates when they face difficulties,” she says with a smile. “Teaching others makes me realize how far I’ve come.”
Encouraged by her progress, Ajmeri has now enrolled in an advanced course to continue growing. “The digital world changes fast,” she says, “and I want to keep learning so I can be ready for a good job.”
She never forgets to express her gratitude: “Anjali Ma’am guided us with so much patience, even visiting us at home when needed. I sincerely thank her, the ST Foundation, and the Navjyoti India Foundation for giving me this opportunity.”
