Bridging the digital divide together: our journey with Terres des Hommes Suisse
Since connecting with Terre des Hommes (TdH) Suisse in 2021, shortly after the Covid pandemic, we have been empowered by their support and introductions to local grassroots partners across India. Acting as a catalyst, TdH connected us with organizations to help make them sustainable in achieving their mission, to uplift children and marginalized communities.
Thanks to the amazing result of the first project with one organization in their network, they connected us with other organizations where we activated our standard Digital Unify Program approach for project implementation, training dedicated trainers in the field so they can continue the digital alphabetization even when our work comes to an end. This unique approach shows how much more lasting and scalable the impact can be when different stakeholders come together, rather than working individually.

This inclusive approach helps fulfil the aspirations of children and young people who are often left behind in mainstream development
Over the past two years, this partnership has expanded our reach—from tribal villages in Jharkhand and migrant populations in West Bengal to urban slums in Madhya Pradesh and backward communities in Jamshedpur. Together, we have positively impacted the lives of more than 3,000 young people by giving them access to essential digital tools and opportunities. They are gaining practical IT skills and developing a stronger interest in digital learning: from writing a curriculum vitae to using Microsoft Excel and Word, managing email accounts, and understanding password protection and basic online safety.
As we continue this journey, we are excited to deepen our collaboration with TdH Suisse and their network, creating a more equitable future where every child can thrive in the digital age.
